Think of it as a remote watch party -- the Facebook Watch video takes up most of the screen and a little square in the corner shows your friend or family member reacting to whatever you're both watching.

Facebook Watch is extremely limited compared to streaming services like Netflix or Amazon Prime. There are select live videos, original series and gaming videos, but that's about it. Still, you can watch the content with your contacts far away. There were a few references that didn't make sense until after I played 1. Most notably, the appearance of a particular prop in 2 's final cutscene. Having thoroughly enjoyed 2 , I went on to play 1.

But it was kind of a letdown, having only about a quarter of the play time, and missing the lovable characters of Wheatley and Cave Johnson. I was quite happy to find it for free on Steam as I already had a Source game in my library. And as it also uses the Source Engine, it comes for free!

The enjoyment of Portal2 is significantly improved with a play through of Portal. Sorry, you're wrong. Portal 2 actually does a much better job of explaining the Portal Gun to new users than Portal 1 did.
