Why 1366x768 instead of 1280x720
Low resolution will get you more FPS due to the pixel but its not that good on graphics. Sep 14, 0 11, Oct 17, 0 10, The fewer the pixels the better is the performance, but of course higher resolutions tend to look better. Sep 11, 6, 0 18, Aug 13, 1, 0 19, What do you have your eyes on?
What's your question behind this question? I'm assuming you are comparing comparable monitors within a certain budget? How much? The reason being is that with the holidays passing soon you may be able to get a great deal depending on your budget and I feel that spending more on your monitor is worth it as it's what you spend the most time seeing. It's not on sale at the moment. Nonetheless, what do you have your eyes on?

If so much TV is now broadcast at x, why do manufacturers make TVs with a resolution of x? Although there is only a little bit of upscaling to do, why not just mfgr. My second question, I don't understand how TVs are different that computer monitors. Monitors do not generally scale, do they? I'm confused.
If I buy a TV that has a native resolution of x, as compared with, say one with x that has good built-in scaling circuitry, will I see any difference in the image? This is a fairly common gaming resolution and would likely look alot better than the scaling that has to be done on the x display in order to fit the source on the screen.
Erm, speaking of which If not, then you won't even be able to play games at x ND40oz [H]F Junkie. Joined Jul 31, Messages 12, I think i have since solved the problem.
Westinghouse has a new badboy coming out very soon. Now if they would just release the MSRP and some stores would start to have it in stock. I'm sure this has been answered already, and don't kill me if it will be the th time you guys answered this, but it's hard to search for this thing in particular you try searching x!!
So basically here's the question: Why do LCD sets tend to have a native resolution of x and not just keep the native res of x, which should be better for p signals without the need to upscale? I was thinking it has to do with the fact that it's a more PC-friendly resolution arguable , or that it might be just cheaper for manufacturers to make the sets with this resolution But in the end, these sets will be used as TVs and not PC monitors, so wouldn't a native res of p be better, without the need to scale the signal to fit the screen, which could potentially make things worse, and in the end pixel mapping on a p image will always be preferred?
I'm missing something again ain't I Welwynnick Distinguished Member. Digital displays have evolved from two different product streams - computing and video. All these resolutions are related directly or indirectly to binary numbers. For example, is three-quarters of two to the power of ten.
I think it would be much less confusing if everyone had adopted lines, though. My Hitachi accepts a x signal over VGA but the best my video card can do is x, the Hitachi, interestingly tries to fit the screen with that.
